The weather was darn near perfect for our range work day: overcast skies and comfortably cool, and no rain!  Painted Rose sent cookies and brownies to sustain the worker bees (THANK YOU!), and the Ranch provided hot coffee.  We moved steel down the hill from stages 5 & 6 and all the blankets off of stage 6; we disassembled the running buffalo on stage 3, and built up the berms behind the loading and unloading tables to a safe height.  Randy's Bobcat operator set buckets of dirt on top of the new bulkheads, and we shovelled it into place.  And shovelled, and shovelled.  Painted Filly cut some new rugs for tables, too.  Many thanks to Painted Filly, Kiowa Kid, Windy Ike, Whiskey James, Colorado Horseshoe & el Gato Gordo from the Cowboys; the 3-Gunners were represented most ably by Todd & Katy, both of whom moved a LOT of dirt; and thanks to Randy for his help and his Bobcat operator.  We finished by reassembling the running buffalo on Stage 3 ~ 10 feet farther away from the firing line.  The Range will be in good shape for 6 stages at the June match!
