The True Grit party at Tinseltown in Colorado Springs on Sunday, January 2nd, was a great success!  19 gorgeous ladies and cowboys showed up in full regalia.  I would like to thank Shootin' Hoosier and his lovely wife Steel Belle (NICE OUTFIT!) and their family, from the Colorado Shaketails, for joining in the fun, and Sonora Blaze and Blazen Vaquero who came down from Parker!

We all had dinner at the Outback Steakhouse before the show, and both food and service were great!  Around one table we had Painted Filly, Kiowa Kid, Scary Sherry, Gideon Walker, Morgan Dollar, Calico Cass, el Gato Gordo, Anxious Annie, Scary Indian Dude, Sonora Blaze, Blazen Vaquero, Painted Rose, Windy Ike, Cowgirl Smarts, and the Knockwurst Kid.  We weren't quite able to get everyone together, and Hoosier's family had a table in a different area, the only blemish on an otherwise untarnished evening.

We hit the theater in plenty of time ~ it wasn't crowded ~ and the movie was all that a Cowboy Action Shooter could want!  The XD theater was clean and the chairs ~ rocking chairs ~ were ever so comfortable.  Not to give anything away, but as a horse person I really enjoyed watching Mattie's horse's ears in the river crossing.  Enough said.

If you weren't there, you missed a fine evening of camraderie and fun.
