The Colorado Cowboys had eleven participants at the National Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting, "Winter Range." Held at the Ben Avery shooting facility near Phoenix Arizona, this is one of the largest and most prestigious Cowboy Action Shooting matches of the year. First of all, there were 643 competitors at that match for 12 Stages. Congratulations to Painted Filly (at her first major match) and Big Dave for shooting the ENTIRE MATCH CLEAN! Forty-two shooters enjoyed a great day in the Colorado high country for the REMEMBER THE ALAMO CAS Match! The Battle of the Alamo - February 23rd to March 6th, 1836. I wish I could have been there! THE OVERALL MATCH WIN GOES TO COBRA CAT. Congratulations to Colorado Horseshoe, Mountain Menace and Maker-Wright for shooting the match clean. Apparently not an easy thing to do on this one! WELL DONE!!!! Here are the SCORES. We are trying something new -posting the stages before the match! Don't know if we will do this everytime, this is an experiment: REVISED STAGES. I'll leave them up for those masochists who wish to look at both scores and the stages...... |
